Tingleby Woods

The leaves are falling in Tingleby Wood. The sun splashes dancing shadows in the Autumn wind, and glances flashes off of muddy puddles. Fungi burst and flop and bulge. Squirrels shriek and natter and store. Sweet Chestnuts drop and prickle, and Blackthorn bushes pop deep blue berries. It's time to store away the year and pack our memories. The frost will be here soon to sharpen our wits and tease our will.
